Initial Session Evaluation

All new clients are seen initially as a consultation for the purpose of evaluating the nature of personal needs and difficulties and recommending the type(s) of counseling.

Confidentiality

Legally and ethically, the relationship between therapist and client is of a confidential nature. This means that any and all information which is given to the therapist during any session cannot be divulged by the therapist without the client’s written consent. There are some exceptions to this agreement which will be discussed in our first visit together.

Insurance:

I am currently accepting Regence (Blue Shield) insurance, Kaiser (Group Health), First Choice, United Healthcare and Aetna.

Most insurance companies provide out-of-network coverage. This means that you pay up-front for services, and then submit a receipt and paperwork for reimbursement from your insurance company. Check with your insurance provider to find out how much they will reimburse for mental health services.

Cancellation Policy

If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay a fee before our next appointment.
